TRAFFICKING: Sickening closer look

You may think illegal immigration is a problem, but you should know that human trafficking is at the core of that and numerous other crises. It is the motivation for much of the apparently absurd opposition to enforcement of immigration laws.

We hear lots of emotional appeals to be compassionate and to allow many more of the poor and downtrodden into the United States. But the underside of what appears to be reasonable and compassionate is an ugly, horrifying world of modern slavery and big money. And it is practiced in high places among those we thought we could trust with our security and depend upon to make and enforce our laws.
