BIRTHDAYS: Honor top presidents, too

MLK Day was upon us once again.
We used to celebrate Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays individually too, but no more. They’re both lumped together into a “Presidents Day” as if the father of our country and honest Abe, the great emancipator, are as insignificant as Jimmy Carter, James Buchanan and Warren G. Harding. Ugh.
Imagine if you will the fury (and likely riots) that would erupt in our politically correct, liberal-driven society if Congress decided to rename MLK Day (gasp) “Civil Rights” Day, in honor of ALL the MANY people who contributed to the Civil Rights movement?
After all, it wasn’t only MLK?
Certainly Washington and Lincoln deserve to be as honored as they once were?
