Barbara Eileen Camm, 80

Barbara Eileen Camm was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Spokane, Wash., to Fred and Helen Camm. She passed away Dec. 26, 2019, while residing in St. Maries, Idaho. The Camm family resided in the Harrison area for many years before moving to the Silver Valley, in Idaho. Barbara was the middle child of three and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1957. She continued her education in Spokane, Wash., before moving to San Diego to pursue a career in nursing and medical records administration. She then moved to Boise, Idaho, before returning to Northern Idaho to assist in the extended care of parents.

Barbara had many interests and was known as a talented artist and painter. She also gardened and cooked, was heavily into crafting, and would often bike with her camera to take pictures. She also enjoyed trips back to the Harrison area to spend time on “her lake.”

She is survived by her oldest son, Todd, and family, in Tonasket, Wash., and brother, Jack, of Moscow, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rusty; and younger sister, Janice.

The family asks that instead of flowers or cards, a donation or volunteer time be made.

A memorial service will be held for her at 1 p.m. on Jan. 24, 2020, at the Silver Valley Worship Center in Smelterville, Idaho.
