THANKS: Gratitude galore

| January 10, 2020 12:00 AM

“It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing.” — Mother Teresa

I want to thank the members of this wonderful community for their love and support toward the bountiful gifts of robes to my workplace. The abundance was overflowing and so were soft throw-blankets, slippers and candy.

We truly are fortunate to live in this fabulous city and even more fortunate to be the recipient of love for those less fortunate than oneself.

I wish I could name all of those who donated. I wish I knew who the anonymous donors were. I will never know all of these amazing people, but my gratitude is genuine and as I wrapped up all those lovely gifts, your love filled my heart to overflowing.

I hope everyone who donated sees this love letter. I don’t know how to give a proper thank you, so I thought it would be sweet to put it in our hometown paper.

A local photography group started this whole generous thing and if I am allowed to say this, thank you North Idaho Life.

Many people were blessed by love this Christmas and I was a small part of the huge impact that human kindness brings others.

Happy New Year to all of us who dwell in this wonderful city, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
