Wenona Irene Reid Blomgren, 99 Wenona Irene Reid Blomgren, 99

Wenona was born in Caldwell, Idaho. She was the first of six children born to Annie and Oliver Mason. She graduated from high school in Council, Idaho, and attended college at Lewiston State Normal School with a teaching certificate.

She raised four children in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and retired from teaching and counseling in 1983. She traveled the world and the United States. She lived in an assisted living facility, and seven years ago, she married and shared her love with Bob Blomgren.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; her brothers and sisters, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane if desired.

A funeral service for Wenona will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at Yates Hayden Funeral Chapel, 373 East Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho, with a graveside at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens and a reception at the Yates Hayden Funeral Chapel to follow.
