Sumner-Silva

Jan and Fred Sumner of Leawood, Kan., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelin Brooke Sumner to Taylor Steven Silva, both of Milton, Fla. Taylor is the son of Bob and Deborah Silva of Coeur d’Alene.

Katelin obtained an ASL-English interpretation degree in 2012 and history of art degree in 2007 from Kansas University. She is employed as a sign language interpreter. Taylor is currently attending the University of West Florida on the G.I. Bill. He is a full-time student pursuing a finance degree and works part time at the Pensacola Country Club.

The couple will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2020, at The Museum at Prairiefire in Overland Park, Kan.
