A mule deer buck was killed and left to rot along Lindsey Creek Road in Lewiston late last month, according to Idaho Fish and Game.

The 3x4 mule deer buck was found shot and left Jan. 31 — two months after the close of the season — near the south end of Lindsey Creek Road. The road lies on Lewiston’s eastern edge. The buck was likely shot sometime between Thursday and Friday morning, Fish and Game said.
