AP: Embarrassment to journalism

I have never read such a piece of hatchet-yellow “journalism” that was in your Feb. 5 issue on the president’s State of the Union speech. Obviously the “journalist,” and I use that term very loosely, was from the left side of the aisle. Nevertheless, to slant the coverage of the SOTU as he did was inexcusable. And of course the juvenile antics of Nancy Pelosi tearing up her copy of the speech was outstanding — why didn’t she just throw herself down on the floor and stamp her feet?

It is time to cut loose the Associated Press as a news source for your paper. I’m sure there are other news sources that are somewhat less biased in their coverage.
