STEWART: Leadership needed now

After reading the Jan. 29, 2020, Editorial — “Time to put property tax hikes on ice” — it is my wish that former Kootenai County Commissioner David Stewart will consider running again this coming election season.

During his term, Commissioner Stewart never voted for a property tax increase. Since his departure a few years ago, my property taxes have increased every year. This has got to come to an end. We need commissioners who are fiscally responsible and will stop raising property taxes.
