Naccarato shines for Cardinal men
- MEN’S BASKETBALL
COEUR d’ALENE — Joey Naccarato, a sophomore from Coeur d’Alene High, had 21 points and 18 rebounds for North Idaho College in a 110-63 romp over the Treasure Valley Chukars in Northwest Athletic Conference play at Rolly Williams Court on Saturday.
Christian Guess had 22 points and 15 rebounds for NIC (21-1, 9-0 NWAC), which shot 46 of 80 from the field.
NIC travels to Big Bend on Wednesday.
DeVaughn Williams scored 14 points for Treasure Valley (12-8, 5-4).

COEUR d’ALENE — Anna Schrade hit a 3-pointer with 3:11 remaining as the Cardinals held off the Chukars in a Northwest Athletic Conference game at Rolly Williams Court.
Halle Eborall, a sophomore from Lake City High, scored the final five points of the game for NIC (12-8, 6-3 NWAC) from the free-throw line.
NIC leads Treasure Valley by two games for fourth place in the East Region. The top four teams in each region advance to the NWAC Championships starting March 5 in Everett.
Lilly Kelley, a sophomore from Timberlake High, had 17 points and two steals for Treasure Valley (10-8, 4-5)
NIC faces Big Bend Wednesday in Moses Lake.
