Hjalmer Theodore Nelson, III, 74

| December 17, 2020 1:00 AM

Hjalmer Theodore Nelson, III, "Ted", from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Garden Grove, Calif., went home to dance with Jesus on Dec. 6, 2020. He was 74 years old.

Ted was not a COVID-19 statistic. God called him home in his perfect time. He was retired and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved line dancing, spending time with his family and studying the Bible everyday.

He was an amazing dad to children who needed a dad and gave his love and time selflessly to all he met.

He will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, in Medical Lake, Wash.

Ted is survived by his wife, Mary Nelson; his daughter, Janice Camarena; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Ted left behind a legacy of God's love, grace, and eternal forgiveness. He will be missed greatly.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 “Until we meet again Daddy. I love you more.”
