GENEROSITY: Not in my book

The caption to a photograph in the Dec. 11 Coeur d’Alene Press, attached to an article about the Salvation Army Red Kettle Christmas campaign states:

“A generous Fred Meyer patron on Thursday drops a $1 bill into a Salvation Army Red Kettle at Fred Meyer.”

One dollar! Generous? Seriously? I guess the definition of generous for the caption writer is different than mine.
