Raymond Bob Parsons, 84

Raymond Bob Parsons, 84, of Bayview, Idaho, passed away in Coeur d’Alene on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020. Bob was born April 11, 1936, in Vandervoort, Ark., to Curtis and Hester (Daniels) Parsons. He graduated high school in his hometown of Mullan, Idaho, before learning on the job and becoming a skilled heavy equipment operator and mechanic, specializing in road and airfield runway construction and asphalt and working in Idaho, Washington, Montana and Alaska.

Following his retirement, he was in-demand as a mechanic and electrician, specializing in antique cars and small engines. When not tending countless projects, he shared the open road with his love for motorcycle riding and was specifically an avid Harley Davidson rider. Known for generosity with his time and expertise, he was hardworking, a good father and an exceptional role model.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Hester; his brothers Otis, Jake (Earl), Darrel and Ralph; and his sister, Hazel.

He is survived by his sons Daniel, Mark and Perry; his daughter, Kim; his sister, Lorene; his first wife, Ardith (Jean), his life partner, Beryl; his stepchildren, Trevor and Monica; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends. His mission is complete, please celebrate his life.
