Zags' Nembhard named

WCC Player of the Week

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Gonzaga junior guard Andrew Nembhard was named West Coast Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Last Wednesday against No. 11 West Virginia in the 2020 Jimmy V Classic in Indianapolis, Nembhard scored a season-high 19 points off of the bench in a win for No. 1 Gonzaga. He made eight of his 14 shots from the field in 35 minutes. He dished out six assists and grabbed five rebounds.

Idaho's Klinker earns Big Sky women's basketball Player of the Week honor

FARMINGTON, Utah — Idaho senior Natalie Klinker was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball after two wins by the Vandals over Sacramento State, the conference office Monday morning.

In the first game, Klinker had a team-high 15 points and 13 rebounds. In the second game, she had seven points and a career-high 19 rebounds.
