Police continue investigation into Tesh threats

Coeur d’Alene police are continuing to investigate threats left at Tesh, Inc. over three days this week.

Capt. Dave Hagar said Thursday police interviewed an “investigative lead” Wednesday, but no arrests have been made.

Tesh, which provides rehabilitative services, training and employment, was targeted by someone who spray-painted death threats, expletives and graffiti at several areas on the property on Industrial Loop, and also left threatening voicemails starting late Sunday or early Monday, again the next day and Wednesday morning.

Someone also turned off power to the building and tried to break in, said Tesh officials.

The threats targeted a specific person who works at Tesh. That person is safe, said Tesh officials.

Tesh staff and volunteers cleaned up the white paint on doors, walkways, vehicles and windows on Wednesday.

Tesh was closed Monday through Wednesday but reopened Thursday.
