Volunteers needed for three NI trail projects

Volunteers are needed to help maintain trails on one-day and weekend projects in September in North Idaho. The nonprofit organization Idaho Trails Association is looking for volunteers for trailwork on the Two Mouth Lakes Trail, Sept. 12 in the Selkirk Mountains, the St. Joe Sawtooth Trail, Sept. 19 and 20 on the north side of the Mallard Larkins Pioneer Area in the St. Joe National Forest, and at Evans Landing, Sept. 26, on the west shore of Lake Pend Oreille. We’ll focus on tread repair on the bottom part of the trail.
