PREP VOLLEYBALL: Post Falls sweeps in opener

SPIRIT LAKE — Kylie Munday had five kills, six aces and eight assists for the Post Falls Trojans in a 25-3, 25-11, 25-17 win over the Timberlake Tigers in the nonleague opener for both schools at Timberlake High.

Maya Blake had nine kills, Brielle Nagel 12 digs and four aces, Claire Holding 12 digs, Kassie Gardiner nine assists and Brooke Minden eight assists for Post Falls.

Brooke Jessen had five digs, three kills and two blocks, Berkeley Knight three kills and one block and Sami Wilfong four assists for Timberlake.

Post Falls hosts Kellogg tonight at 7.

Timberlake travels to Lakeland on Sept. 1.
