Free dinner for veterans

A free barbecue dinner for veterans is scheduled 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3603, 1125 E. Third Ave., Post Falls.

The dinner is a way to say thank you to veterans for their service. It will be a night of family fun and getting to know other veterans and their families.
