New moms and babies are the focus of Sweet Pea Imagery and Bluegrass Baby Boutique, a combination of two new places at 4751 W. Selway Ave., Post Falls.

Located just south of Interstate 90 near the state border, the places will open Saturday and will celebrate an open house 2-6 p.m. next Sunday.

Sweet Pea Imagery’s studio provides a range of services for expectant mothers and families. These include elective ultrasounds, reliable early gender DNA testing, prenatal massage and an eco-conscious boutique. Educational classes and yoga will be offered this fall.

Bluegrass Baby Boutique offers high quality affordable clothing, and gifts for babies and moms.

A wide variety of E-cigarettes and smoking alternatives for those hoping to quit smoking cigarettes are offered at Vapor Lounge now open in Unit 104 (by Mod Pizza) at 2824 N. Ramsey Road.

Products include CBD items for people and pets and more than 100 flavors of E-liquid. A raffle, prize wheel and giveaways are every Friday for 10 weeks. Opening in 2009, Vapor Lounge has 10 locations in this region.

• We hear River City Pizza will have a place in the strip mall at Atlas and Prairie.

• A new Roger’s Ice Cream & Burgers is under construction on Government Way behind Wells Fargo Bank on Appleway.

• The new Hardwick Hardware is under construction at 3820 E. Mullan in Post Falls.

• JB’s Restaurant has reopened, with hours 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Appleway.

• A Chase Bank is being built in front of Tractor Supply on Neider Avenue.

• A Starbucks Coffee building is under construction kitty-corner from the Kroc at Ramsey and Maria.

• A new eatery will be in the former pizza location in Riverstone.

• A new large apartment building will be by the pond in Riverstone.
