Edward P. Robar, 63

Edward Paul “Ed” Robar, age 63, known as “Eddie” when he was younger, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Hospice of North Idaho Schneidmiller House.

Ed was born March 11, 1957, in Colville, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Robar. Ed leaves behind his sisters, Paulette Porter of Spokane and Karen (Dan) Campbell of Seaside, Ore.; two nieces; three nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Ed’s family moved from Colville to Spokane, and then to Twin Lakes, Idaho. Ed attended Lakeland High School in Rathdrum. He enjoyed fishing as a kid and snowmobiling in the winter. He liked going to the hockey games, stock car races and camping with friends.

Ed worked nights doing janitorial services and also freelanced video for KXLY News for several years. His last job was at Home and Away Medical Transport.

Ed had many friends; You were not a stranger to Ed very long after meeting.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at Lifeway Chapel, 501 W. 15th Ave., Post Falls, with a reception following. Burial was at Fairmont Memorial Park in Spokane.
