Live church coming back to Kroc

| April 29, 2020 1:00 AM

COEUR d’ALENE — The Salvation Army Kroc Center announced Tuesday that church services will resume in the Worship Theater beginning 10 a.m. Sunday.

To maintain Gov. Brad Little’s social distancing guidelines and COVID-19 safety requirements, attendees are asked to consider the following before attending:

• If you have been sick in the last 14 days or show any signs of illness, stay home and watch the Facebook livestream.

At-risk and vulnerable populations should stay home and watch the livestream.

• Church seating is limited to 60 seats to maintain social distancing guidelines. Families will be able to sit together.

• Attendees should note the specific designated parking area and single entry into The Kroc Center.

• Traditional fellowship in the lobby with cookies and coffee will not occur yet and the church bulletin will be presented electronically.

Many churches plan to resume services Sunday, per Little’s recently unveiled plan to slowly reopen Idaho. However, many churches also plan to remain closed to protect their congregations. Many churches have found success with online services.
