One Lakeside condo building eyes July completion date

A July completion is now estimated for the 15-story One Lakeside luxury condominium building under construction at First Street and Lakeside Avenue.

The place is more than 40 condominiums with views of Lake Coeur d’Alene and downtown. The fourth, fifth and sixth floors have 29 short-term (hotel) rooms. The suites have full kitchens with appliances and quartz countertops, one and two-bedroom floor plans and balconies with the view.

Guests will have options to use the amenities of a fitness center, a fourth-level outdoor park and dog run and a rooftop club room with a kitchen, billiard table, televisions and the panoramic view from covered and open spaces.

A 105-lot garage is on the first three levels, and a 1,400-square-foot upscale convenience store will be on the ground floor.

Summit Mold plans second building in Post Falls

A second building for manufacturing will be built on the 2 acres Summit Mold has at 4300 W. Seltice Way on the west side of Post Falls.

The company uses robotics to build small parts to make stack, multi-shot, unwind, two-shot, over-mold, plastic-injection and prototype molds. Many are for medical supplies, including ventilators.

Bay Street Storage growing to 75 units

Primarily adding larger units for boats, RVs and more, Bay Street Storage is adding a 41,000-square-foot expansion at 355 N. Bay St. (1011 E. 3rd Ave.) in Post Falls.

The 75 unit sizes are at 14x45, 12x30, 14x40 and 14x45 and roof-only covered storage. Construction is by Steel Structures of America of Post Falls.

This guy stole some valuable paintings by getting past security and into his van with them. But he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of gas.
