| April 26, 2020 12:15 PM

That’s three good days in a row.

Three days with no new COVID-19 cases confirmed in the five northernmost Idaho counties, according to Panhandle Health District.

On Sunday, PHD said that after three new cases of COVID-19 had been reported Thursday in Kootenai County, no new cases had been confirmed since then.

That means Kootenai County has 59 confirmed cases and Bonner County has four. Shoshone, Benewah and Boundary counties have yet to confirm a single case.

Five people in the region have been hospitalized with COVID-19 at some point, Panhandle reports. Meantime, 39 cases have improved enough that they are no longer being monitored.

Thus far, there have been no confirmed deaths in the Panhandle because of COVID-19.
