Lovett, a 133-pound freshman from Post Falls High, was named an honorable mention to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division I team, the organization announced on Friday. Lovett finished the season 17-8, finishing third at the Cliff Keen Invitational, defeating then-No. 9 Taylor LaMont of Utah Valley in the process, and finished the season with a last-second takedown of Michigan’s Joey Silva to clinch an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships, which were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

North Idaho College women’s basketball

Carlton, a 5-foot-6 sophomore point guard, signed to continue her basketball career at Division II Metropolitan State of Denver. Carlton averaged 11.2 points per game as a sophomore at NIC, which finished 18-10. Carlton led the Northwest Athletic Conference in 3-point percentage as a freshman at 45.2% (56 of 124).
