EBERLEIN: His experience matters

| April 16, 2020 1:00 AM

This year’s election brings out a variety of candidates. In Legislative District 3, that covers south of Highway 53 to Worley on the west side of Lake Coeur d Alene, the senate seat is open as the current senator is retiring. There are three choices: a recent transplant from California who never held political office before, a CEO of his father’s company (and a proponent of Urban Renewal Districts getting our property tax dollars) who never held political office, or a former county commissioner who has a voting record and is a small business owner.

Marc Eberlein is the former county commissioner with a fiscally conservative voting record and strongly supports individual property rights.

Our county is facing uncertain times with economic issues, a rising cost of property taxes and small businesses forced to close down. Marc Eberlein has fearlessly fought against lobbying groups that support their own property rights agenda in the county.

This area needs a Senator who has a voting record that has supported individual property rights and a smaller government budget. Marc Eberlein is fearless in supporting our individual rights that include personal and property rights.

Voting for an unproven candidate is a huge risk in these fiscally challenging times.

My friends and family support Marc Eberlein for senator in our district. Experience counts.
