CREDIBILITY: Lost on liberals

| April 10, 2020 1:00 AM

In today’s liberal world, it’s impossible to lose credibility.

Anyone remember who Neville Chamberlain was? (I know history doesn’t matter much to most folks these days.)

The former Prime Minister of England is famous for being wrong and for looking foolish. (Look it up please.)

It used to ruin your career when you’re publicly disgraced.

But not so in America today.

Remember Dick Morris? After a lengthy career in politics that included serving in the Clinton Administration, Dick Morris began working as a political commentator. He was hired by Fox News, regularly popping up on shows like The O’Reilly Factor.

In 2012, Morris confidently predicted that Mitt Romney would be elected president, and a few months later, Fox News decided not to renew his contract. Morris soon said that Fox News had fired him specifically because he was wrong in his election prediction.

“I was fired because I was wrong,” he said. “I was wrong and I was wrong at the top of my lungs.”

He was 100% correct about why he was rightly fired.

He’d lost “credibility.”

But in liberal-elitist America today, one can be entirely wrong, foolish and/or entirely dishonest…yet it will have zero effect. See: Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Rachael Maddow, Morning-Joe Scarborough, Don Lemon, Chuck Schumer, Eric Swallwell, Amy Klobuchar, Corey Booker, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, etc.

What does one have to do nowadays to lose all credibility in the liberal world?
