CONSTITUTIONS: On governor’s side

Reminder to Rep. Scott, Pastor Tim and Sheriff Wheeler:

Opening of Declaration of Independence:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,…that they are endowed…with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted…”

Preamble of the Constitution:

“We the People of the United States,…establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

The U.S. government is promoting the welfare of the people by DEFENDING against spread of the virus with methods such as social distancing to help reduce the spread and preventable DEATH of our neighbors. Thus, SAVING LIFE. Are you against saving lives?

Idaho Constitution:

Article 1 SECTION 21. This enumeration of rights shall not be construed to impair or deny other rights retained by the people.

So, you are saying that property is MORE important than people?

The right to free assembly in a pandemic is DENYING the right of everyone to be safe, well and to live. So are you Pro-assembly or are you Pro-life?

Article 4 SECTION 5. The supreme executive power of the state is vested in the governor, who shall see that the laws are faithfully executed.

Yes, the governor has the right to make a “stay at home” declaration as well as enforce it if need be.
