Renee Barnwell, 61

Renee Barnwell, 61, of Hayden, passed away on March 28, 2020, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. Another sweet, kind soul taken by cancer.

Renee was born on Sept. 28, 1958, in Castro Valley, Calif. She lived in Castro Valley and in South Carolina before moving to Hayden, Idaho. Renee loved her profession; she was an EMT in South Carolina.

Renee gave love and support to so many people. Her mom, Janice Miller, will miss her so much. They moved to Idaho to be close to Amy (Joel) Johnson and children, Misha and Macie. Amy is the daughter of Renee’s brother, Mark, who passed away in 2006. Another daughter of Mark’s, Liz (Jim) Angelina and their son, Billy, live in Petaluma, Calif. Renee also leaves behind uncles, aunts and cousins that she really enjoyed; as well as many close friends who have stood by us. We found a home in an area we really love.
