REMINGTON: No harm done

| April 1, 2020 1:00 AM

It is obvious from the article on Pastor Remington’s leading church services, that the writer watched the YouTube live stream of the service. From the video, it is clear to even the most critical viewers that couples sat together, but social spacing was in effect between them and others. The United States’ Bill of Rights cites the inalienable God-given right of assembly and the right to worship to everyone. Many, many people stayed home and watched Pastor Tim’s service. Others chose to attend. Good sense and personal choice was practiced by all.

In times of trouble, Christians work together in faith-based action. When the day comes that the government can shut down churches and arrest pastors and attendees, then we will have spit in the eye of our founders and the values set when the country was established, and we might as well be living in China, where this virus was originated.
