Timberlake's Hunt wins at Connell Invitational; Tiger girls second

CONNELL, Wash. — Timberlake senior Logan Hunt won the boys race at the Connell Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 16 minutes, 27.9 seconds in the race at Connell High.

Timberlake’s boys finished sixth in the 23-team field. Lewiston won the boys team title.

Timberlake’s girls finished second, with Tiger sophomore Haileyann Johnson the top local finisher in 14th in 22:06.5. Goldendale (Wash.) won the girls team title.
