SENIORS: Hayden center deserves coverage

I write here in appreciation of the Hayden Senior Center. They recently have expanded to include a beautiful new area for exercise, games, bingo and rental space for meetings, as well as their usual twice weekly delicious luncheons. I am very disappointed that the Coeur d’Alene Press has done very little to acknowledge these hardworking four employees and volunteers. We had a grand event at the fairgrounds on Sept. 14. I saw only one article about it and no coverage about it afterward. Shame on you.

It appears to me you always have time to show pictures of any organization that has an event or service to the community. These people at 9428 N. Government Way are helpful, sincere, happy, and more. The Press needs to follow through on commitment of recognizing the Hayden Senior Center.
