David W. Alexander, 54
David W. Alexander, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away peacefully, with loving family and friends by his side, on May 24, 2019, at Kootenai Health Hospital, in Coeur d’Alene.
David was born Nov. 22, 1964, in Coeur d’Alene, to Harold S. and Barbara A. (Earin) Alexander. David was born on his oldest brother John’s birthday, but at a sad time for our nation, because it was the anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination; David never forgot that day.
He was the fourth son born to the Alexander family. He was raised and lived all his life in Coeur d’Alene. He graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School.
David worked for Focus Manufacture. He married Teresa, the love of his life, on Aug. 22, 2014. David’s second love was his motorcycle; he enjoyed riding his bike with Teresa on his days off and when the weather permitted, he would ride it to work. David enjoyed getting together with friends and both sides of his family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Barbara; grandparents, Mrs. E. Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. Earin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
David is survived by his wife Teresa; brothers, John (Debbie) Alexander of Grapeview, Wash., Tom (Loretta) Alexander of Portland, Ore. and Don (Bev) Alexander of Portland; uncle and aunt, Bill and Sharon Alexander of Post Falls; Phyllis Martillaro of Carol Stream, Ill.; step-daughter Sara (Brandon) Krapas, of Athol; Shantel Paris (Cole), Britany Paris (Shaun) of Anacortes, Wash.; step-son Mason (Sybrina) Forbes of Coeur d’Alene; eight step-grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of David’s life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at The American Legion Post 143, 1183 Poleline Ave., Post Falls, Idaho. There will be a potluck luncheon, so bring your favorite side-dish to share with others.
