IDFG urges hunters to turn in reports

Big game hunters are being urged by Idaho Fish and Game to fill out their hunter reports whether or not they were successful. With many general seasons winding down, hunters may fill out their reports online or by calling 877-268-9365, 24 hours per day and seven days per week. A hunting tag number is required when calling.

The information is used so wildlife managers can get accurate and vital information for managing big game herds and to help the commission set seasons.

Postcard reminders and follow up phone calls, are a last resort by the department to collect the data.
