DEMOCRATS: Acknowledge who's boss
Our duly elected president (by an electoral landslide) is under siege.
From day one, the Democrats have refused to accept his victory. House majority Democrats have headed up numerous investigations into Trump’s collusion with Russia during our 2016 presidential election. All probes proved Trump to be guilty — of nothing! Now it’s impeachment. Who knows what’s next?
Congress has gotten next to nothing accomplished. The Mueller investigation was the Democrats’ great hope of driving Trump from office — not one shred of evidence and Mueller is no longer the darling of the Democrat party, but their hopeless, useless, spineless scoundrel.
For eight years, Republicans witnessed the leadership of Obama. We were sickened, saddened and shocked as he dismantled our nation and drove wedges through Americans of every class and color. He apologized at every opportunity for America’s faults — and never, ever praised our great country. But, we got through it; the rule of law and the Constitution held our nation together.
Republicans, on the other hand, didn’t march violently in the streets, spew hate, anger and more hate at Obama’s administration — they didn’t attempt at every turn to disrupt meetings and speeches by Democrat opponents at colleges and speaking events throughout America. The FBI, CIA and NIA didn’t penetrate and sabotage the Obama White House. They didn’t attempt to impeach Obama. Republicans simply went to the polls and voiced their opinions.
Maybe Democrats should follow the rules of law and do the same — and as Democrats often spouted throughout Obama’s eight-year term, “We won. Get over it!”
