Strobel leads Cardinal men to third at tourney

CRESWELL, Ore. — Dawson Strobel shot a 1-under-par 143 for 36 holes to lead the North Idaho College men’s golf team to a third-place finish Sunday at the Northwest Christian University Fall Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Club.

Griffin McCauley of NIC tied for seventh at 2-over 146.

Jessey Symons finished 15th for the NIC women, who took fifth.

The tourney concluded NIC’s fall season.
