WOOD: A Rathdrum resident's critique
With apparent explicit approval and appropriate purring from The Press, three Christie Wood sycophants have been rolled out in print gushing over her candidacy for City Council, while very selectively reporting on her “accomplishments” and ignoring her somewhat less attractive associations. When she retired from the police department she was asked, if public office could be in her future and she answered “I wouldn’t rule it out.” This was an absolute yes, of course.
Just so we can complete the “accomplishment” picture have we forgotten her time joined at the hip with the HREI (Human Rights Education Institute) AKA Tony Stewart and his LGBTQ gang. More recently there she was splashed across the front page sharing the stage with the Democratic Chair and community activist (where have we heard that before) to accept the “Hatred not Allowed” award. Wow! That’s an important issue if there ever was one in this area.
This lady’s personal beliefs and politics more closely align with people like the Gresslers and the hard left rather than values predominantly shared in this community.
Be careful what you think you’re wishing for, it could be just around the corner.
