RALLY: A joyous occasion
I’d like to thank the Coeur d’Alene Press for doing an excellent job and what I thought was very fair coverage of the Pro-President Trump rally we attended last Thursday at Northwest and Ironwood, coverage of which was published in the Oct. 18 edition.
It was a fabulous morning, the clouds parted and somewhere around 125 patriots came out in droves to support our wonderful president. Unlike ANY of the anti-Trump nonsense you see on television (or in the letters to the editor), this was a very joyous and friendly gathering. Smiles everywhere, people were thrilled to have an outlet for their love and support of what I believe is the greatest, most brilliant and accomplished president in our history. Cars by the bushel honking their support … thumbs-up everywhere. It’s hard to imagine anyone seeing that gathering and thinking it represented ANYTHING but pure joy and patriotism. It was truly wonderful to be around so many clear-thinking conservatives!
A special thanks to Staff Writer Keith Erickson and the Coeur d’Alene Press for an in-depth article and a job well done.
Anyone wishing to join with like-minded Trump supporters for discussion and activities can find our group on Facebook, “CDA, Idaho Area for Trump 2020.” A website is in the works.
