POLITICS: And one for all

Bravo to George Sayler for completely and eloquently expressing my view on hate speech and denigrating anyone we disagree with. Using the sophomoric tactic of belittling people who have different views is not patriotic and erodes the fabric of our democracy.

Whether you have lived here three months or all your life, we must all band together and not reflect the negativity, dishonesty and divisiveness which are currently coming out of the fabric of today’s politics.

We must learn to respect the opinions of others so long as they don’t resort to the denigration of others. We must embrace the greatness of our community and not sow the seeds of division.
