GROWTH: Idahoans R Us

Skyla Morris, I understand your attitude but we’re never going to get back our town. Times are changing but that doesn’t give us the right to ask people to leave to where they came from. Attitudes need to change.

I moved here in 1971 from that state we don’t talk about, well not in a nice way, and I became an Idahoan as soon as I crossed the state line and will be until I die. We need to show love to the people who move here. The real estate people are so happy that the price of homes and rentals have moved here too but we want our town back.

It’s not going to happen; it’s only going to get more pricey. But that doesn’t give us the right to be grumps. Teach the people who have moved here to be Idahoans and love them and it’ll change our attitudes — and theirs too.
