AUXILIARY: Feeding our neighbors

On Sept. 28, the American Legion Auxiliary held its 11th annual Pay-It-Forward Dinner for the benefit of the ABC Food Bank. We’re grateful for so much support.

I would especially like to thank Dr. Mike and Maggie at the Northwoods Veterinary Hospital, Emily Smedley at Country Clinical Massage, Randy at Super 1 Foods, John Mott, The Holeceks at C&L Repair Inc. and Lopel Leathers, all of Athol. Also thanks to Ed and Meredith Robinson of Post Falls for their monetary, gift card and food donations.

Without the help of the community and businesses, we could not raise money for the food bank each year. This year we were able to donate $840 and two boxes of food and non-perishable items. A very special thank you to my fellow auxiliary members for their extra special help this year.
