Fresh cider, pies and caramel apples on tap at Tensed's Apple Fest

Fresh pressed apple cider, apple pies and caramel apples will be among the highlights at the third annual Apple Fest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Camp Sanders.

Apple Fest is a fundraising event for the Sanders Widow’s Fund, which helps needy families in the local community.

Fresh pressed apple cider will be available for $5 a gallon plus apple pies, caramel apples, and hamburgers and hot dogs will be available throughout the day. Two drawings for 25 pounds of beef will be at 6 p.m. A $5 entry fee is required.

There will be a craft fair, vendors and live music in the afternoon and volunteers from the Tensed Fire Department will conduct fire hose target practice.
