TRUMP: Reasons for support
Democrats are so filled with hate against conservatives generally and Trump specifically that they can’t or won’t see truth. One complaint is that he hasn’t done anything. The fact is he made many promises before his election, and most of them (and more) he has fulfilled, and those he hasn’t fulfilled is because of opposition from Democrats.
I opposed Trump in the primaries because of his previous life including womanizing and bullying. People are still complaining about him for this past. However, I have learned that, like Saul of Tarsus, Augustine of Hippo, and many current Christians like Lee Strobel and Louie Zamporini, he is not the same man because of his encounter with Jesus Christ.
He promised to protect life in the womb, religious liberty, freedom of conscience for Christians in the marketplace, a strong national defense, a strong alliance with Israel, and a secure border to protect our culture and our Judeo-Christian heritage. We evangelicals voted for him because of these promises, and his actions prove him to be sincere.
What has our president accomplished? A little less than 400 specific items Evangelicals like. The website http://www.magapill.com/ lists them in three categories: Government (138); Economy (142) and National Security (103).
One major concern in the last election was the appointment of conservative (constitutionalist) judges.
“As of November 20, 2019, the United States Senate has confirmed 164 Article III judges nominated by President Trump, including 2 Associate Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States, 48 judges for the United States Courts of Appeals, 112 judges for the United States District Courts….” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_federal_judges_appointed_by_Donald_Trump)
I greatly appreciate our properly elected president.
