CARTOON: In a word, racist

Response to “Cartoonist Has His Say,” Sunday, Nov. 10:

Mr. Dan Brannan is using a lot of words to explain away and make excuses for the obvious — namely that he is a racist, plain and simple. His cartoon caricature depictions clearly speak for themselves. They are racist and prejudicial in nature and remind of the caricatures the Nazi propaganda machine used to depict Jewish folks back in the 1930s.

Calling your racist cartoon “Conservative Cartooning” does a disservice to all the good Conservatives of this area and is a term I have been unfamiliar with as of this writing. Unfortunately, there appears to be a persistent racist undercurrent in this county that has stained North Idaho for a long time, which seems to rear its ugly head every so often. How sad and misguided.
