RISCH: Provide presidential oversight

As the Chair of the Senate Foreign and Intelligence Committees and the Chair of the Senate Ethics Committee, James Risch owes his country the duty of presidential oversight. He and his committee have failed utterly to protect us from foreign interference, as evidenced by Russia and other countries’ continued push of illicit funds into our political system.

The results of these failures are squarely on Risch’s shoulders. I don’t know how he sleeps at night, but I am certain that in the future, he and his party will be vilified for their lack of action.

Quite frankly, in the face of such utter incompetence, he should resign in shame.
