ELECTION: Poll worker salute

I would like to say thank you for the support, dedication and long days and hard work of Kootenai County election poll workers. It has been a great pleasure working with you this past six-plus years. If it wasn’t for you, the poll workers, we would not have an election as easy as we do. You are a key part of the election process.

So I would like all you voters out there to please remember the poll workers in front of you on Election Day deserve your respect. Please help make it a great day for them. They don’t make the rules and laws; they only follow them. They are the best bunch of people you would ever want to know.

I will miss you all greatly.
