CARRIERS: Thanks for the food

The CDA Letter Carriers want to express a very special thank you to the community for their generosity during our annual food drive on May 11. All totaled, we collected 13,600 pounds of food for the Community Action Partnership food bank. We could not have done that without the support of our great citizens.

We also would like to give Randy McIntire of the Hayden Super 1 Foods a big thank you for his donation of the bags. The carriers were able to distribute these with the postcards. We know his generosity made a huge impact on this year’s donations. This one-day, nationwide food drive comes at a time when food banks are really in need.

Thank you all, and we look forward to next year’s food drive.
