Winifred H. Hobbs

Winifred H. Hobbs was a resident of North Star Retirement Community in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She passed away on May 8, 2019, at Hospice House of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Winnie was born Feb. 5, 1926, in Newkirk, Okla., to Ferd and Mary Jenicek. She was raised in Medford, Okla., where she met her husband LeRoy “Buddy” Hobbs. They lived in Colorado and Arizona. While in Arizona they had several businesses. Most recently she managed 13 rental properties. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to several countries and across the United States.

Winnie is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Leroy) Tradel of Idaho; her son, Stephen L. (Angie) Hobbs of Arizona; grandchildren, Shelly, Carrie, Stephen, Matthew and Kevin, and great-granddaughter, Brianna Mulvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Hobbs.

English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with her arrangements. There will be a service in Arizona at a later date.
