SENTENCE: Well done, your honor

Kudos to Judge John Mitchell for giving the drunk driver prison time. He is so right about sending the right kind of message to other drunk drivers.

I have seen the aftermath of what drunk drivers do to others many times in my career. Unfortunately, drunk driving is so commonplace, many people do not take it seriously enough, until they are the victim of a drunk driver. Obviously this woman did not take her two other DUIs seriously.

Remember the other judge who gave the rapist probation. Just like DUIs, rape is also too common and the wrong message is sent to would-be rapists.

Thank you, Judge John Mitchell, for sending the right message — a job well done.
