JORDAN: For Lakes Highway

| May 18, 2019 1:00 AM

Scott Jordan brings many positive things to the table as a commissioner for Lakes Highway District. For one, he owns and runs his own successful business, one he has run for 38 years. It is a business that requires a great deal of planning as well as money management to keep things flowing in a fiscally positive direction.

His plan on fiscal responsibility does not just come down to micro-managing pennies, but using the resources he has on hand to give the taxpayer the best service possible.

He has plowed snow himself in the city of Dalton for 3.5 years to save money as well as he has been able to put $168,000 back into the city’s budget. Now that is fiscal responsibility at its best.

He has taken a huge amount of his own time to do charity work as well as volunteer work for the Boy Scouts of America. He is a strong advocate for the schools in our area and the athletic programs they have, including donations he has made to various charities and auctions for schools and other organizations.

His vision is not just a day into the future of our beautiful highway district, but years down the road. With plans to keep the safe and ever improving road system in our area moving forward.

We are a county that is growing and we need candidates who want to plan for that growth, who have a heart of service for the taxpayers and want to make sure the taxpayer receives the best service possible.

Leading a municipality is about providing the best service with the resources available. Scott Jordan is a servant leader and will absolutely have tax payers best in mind.
