Ivis Irene Deacon, 92

Ivis Irene Deacon, resident of Spirit Lake, Idaho, died April 29, 2019, at North Idaho Hospice Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ivis was born July 19, 1926, in Manitoba, Canada, to Giles and Elsie (Marsh) Clake. She belonged to the Rathdrum Senior Center and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and western music. She was talented and played several instruments. Ivis and her husband, Charles “Bun” lived here part-time, and in western Washington. They also enjoyed being “snowbirds,” wintering in Hemet, Calif.

Ivis is survived by two sons: Bruce of Spirit Lake, Idaho, and Barry and his wife, Pam of Kamloops, Canada; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan and Ryan and great-grandchildren, Mason and Dante. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bun” and son, Ron.

There will be a private gathering for Ivis at a later date.
